If It Smells Like a Flower
In honor of Valentine's Day, I'm sharing with you a love note I found scrunched up in the bottom of Coop's backpack. It seems he has a not so secret admirer. 
Of course, in which way my 7-year-old resembles a flower is a mystery to me, unless she means the infamous "stinking corpse lily".

Skunk Cabbage. Smells like rotting flesh and attracts flies to pollinate them. Native to the swamps of Oregon. And can be smelled from while driving on the way out to the coast.
