Vintage, II
I have a sweet neighbor who for some cracked and batty reason decided it would be a really good idea to trade the use of our leaf blower with a vintage set of pirates with castle. That's right folks. She offered to give the boys a castle set with actual medival soldiers in exchange for borrowing our leaf blower.
Trusting my rule to believe what people say, I took her up on the deal. Now some balanced person might say, "You don't need to do that. You're my neighbor, just take it." But I'm not balanced, you can take my word for it.
So, while my neighbor spent a crazed afternoon blowing leaves around her yard my boys adored and appreciated the castle. (It is reportedly 14 years old.)
So, if you're a cuckoo with some great toys... please keep me in mind -- I'm open to trade and barter.

So now they will have a medieval castle at home and one at Grandma GoGo's. This neighbor must not be planning on any grandchildren. I wouldn't part with my good vintage toys for anything. They are so cool.
Has Cooper switched his interests for the time being from the (ginormous!) Star Wars Lego set to the castle?
Sounds like a fair trade. It looks like the one at your moms. The boys are so grown up.
We have/had those. We also have a robinhood tree, pirate ship and another castle. Both boys played with them...so much that a couple of them have gone the way of the trash because they were broken and faded. They at least got 14 years of play. I think we got them then. The guys are still a fav of Alex. I think your neighbor is totally cool!!! Love Mason's smile. He looks in total bliss.
I think it is funny that you are calling it a vintage castle ..... Jonathon played with this exact castle when he was a toddler ... I guess I just have to come to the realization that .......I AM VINTAGE !!!!
