Pumpkin Muffins = Bad Idea

In a rush to get somewhere and to quell the screams from the backseat (presumably over hunger) I stopped at Starbucks for muffins. Three cream-cheese-pumpkin muffins later (one for each of us) I learned a few things:

1. Pumpkin seeds make Cooper gag until he actually throws up a little bit.
2. Cream cheese filling and a two-year-old in the backseat (with no mama to supervise) is a bit messy.
4. Cleaning up cream cheese, pumpkin muffin crumbs and a little bit of throw up while careening down the freeway should -- perhaps -- be forbidden by law.
3. Once bellies are full, my kids zonk out.

The muffins sounded delicious until the throw up. Then I remembered pumpkin pie use to make me gag/throw up when I was little. I know exactly how he felt. Poor little guy. At least now you know hu!

Are you kidding me? Pumpkin seeds in the muffins? I think I would gag too. The muffins sounded great until I was trying to figure out where the seeds would be. TO me kids and mothers in cars should be against the law....your hands are ALWAYS going to be off the wheel for a reason. Besides it would give us some quiet alone time.
